can someone give me some tips on using royal icing to make a stringwork spiderweb? tip size? dry time? can the cake be refrigerated after the web is dry?

i appreciate the help!

Royal icing should never be frig'd - it will absorb the moisture in there and soften - even into a puddleicon_sad.gif
I have a feeling what hyou are wanting is SugarVeil(SP?).

You could pipe small to med sized web circles ahead & add to your cake just before it goes out.
