Hi! I am beginner at cake decorating. A friend who makes cakes will help me learn how to make fondant cake and butter cream icing.

But I want to know what are the tools and ingredients I will be using all the time for cake decorating so I could buy these and stock it up in my kitchen.

Help!

Welcome to Cake Central. The list of tools and supplies is endless. It depends on the style of cake and how many extra skills you learn.

the person who will teach you should be able to provide a list of the basics. You can also get a wilton Lesson book for beginners.
