Stopped in a cake supply shop (not my regular one) and the owner was telling me that the price of a case of the sleeved red raspberry fillings doubled on her, and the concentrated raspberry flavoring (gallon jug) also more than doubled on her. She told me she was trying to keep her retail pricing down for her customers, but ......
so just thought I'd share so we could start watching for any increases that may be coming our way.

I've noticed this just with fresh berries. I guess we'll be hit from all angles, fresh fruit, fillings, jams & jellies.
Interesting (and scary). I wonder if the shortage has to do with the honey bee crisis?
