Hey, Everyone, this link was given to me by a co-worker who stumbled upon it while surfing. It is great!! A woman whose known as Bakarella makes cake balls into candy coated lollypops. She was the Martha Stewart show.... Now, why didn't I think of that?? icon_rolleyes.gif

Wow, those are the cutest things I have ever seen! And I really love her step by step photo instructions....they were really clear and helpful. What a cute idea.......wish I had some cakeball mix ready to go. (It's almost 100 degrees so there is NO chance I am turning on my oven, lol.)

Thanks for the link icon_smile.gif

Pretty darn clever. icon_smile.gif

And the directions are very well written. judge.gif

Cupcake Pops are a great alternative when Cupcake Bouquets are too much cake. (And they're just so CUTE....) icon_lol.gif

Thanks so much for sharing, Sandy. icon_biggrin.gifthumbs_up.gif

(You've probably launched a new wave of cake ball mania!) icon_cool.gificon_lol.gif

I agree. I was very impressed with the directions. I have scraps from a cake from yesterday. And since the weather is turning bad right now, I'ts a good time for me to get back into the kitchen and try them out icon_wink.gif

I tried them, but couldn't get the balls to do what they were supposed to do (felt like I lost a whole cake...) so anyhow I used oreo truffles (oreos crushed with a block of cream cheese).....so yummy!!

Those are too cute!!! I took a bunch of cake balls to a 4th of july party/cookout. Our friend fell in love with the "little balls of good tasting poop". Not sure if he will like the "cute" version since he can't call them balls of poop anymore! LOL I will definitely try them though! Thakns for showing.

I made a batch today and have a picture of one in my gallery. I didn't make "pops" but put them on mini foil cups. What a pain in the rump! I can add to the instructions - make sure the cake balls are really firm and the chocolate is really almost runny. I spent a lot of time with my head in the freezer today. But these are so cute and worth the work.
