I am considering switching from my mmf to Satin Ice. Can anyone tell me how far a 20Lb bucet will take me. Say I have a 4 tiered 14-12-10-8.
How much will I need? Thanks

Anne

I use a 5lb bucket for a 10 and 8 inch layer cake. Depends on how thin you roll it out. I think Wilton has a chart on their site on how much fondant is needed for different size cakes.

If not, you might call a local bakery and ask them.

I can get a 6-9-12 x 4" tiered cake from a 5# bucket with some extra. Was about 8.5# for a 6-9-12-15 x 4" cake this weekend. I roll to about 1/8" thick.
