I use the big wilton fondant rolling pin and I buy a large piece of vinyl from any sewing shop or joanns and I put it on my kitchen table and I roll
it out on the vinyl and then I flip the vinyl with the fondant on it on to the cake I never have a problem with the right size and it comes off easy then I wash it and roll it up til next time. Hope this helps
PS I forgot to say I wipe the vinyl down with shortening before I roll out the fondant it comes off easier that way
