i have a question how do you price your 6in,8in,10in,12in16in round and square and heart shaped cake,s not for wedding,s just for a single sz cake of these sz. say someone ordered a 6in or any other sz by itself how do you all charge. i,m new at this. i was thinking charging 2.25 aslice for my wedding cake,s. and also how do you charge for 9x13 11x15 and 12x18 sheet cake,s do you charge by the slice for these also? please help me out i have orders coming up for some of these cake,s i really appreciate any help thanks alot kim

I charge per serving no matter what the cake size or shape or occasion.

I charge for a total of 8 cubic inches of cake which comes out to a 1x2x4 size serving for two layer cakes or a 2x2x2 serving for single layer cakes. Same amount of cake, just cut differently.

You need to determine what size of serving you want to use and then make sure you are priced accurately for that size serving. Some people use bigger serving sizes than I do, but to each there own, you have to figure what works best for you.
