So I have done a few weddings now and realized recently that I have made a good luck tradition for weddings. After setup I stop on the way home for a Wendy's spicy chicken sandwhich. I've done it with every wedding but one and that's the only one that is divorced so far, after only 4 months. Now I guess I HAVE TO stop for the that sandwhich... no guilt! icon_smile.gif

Anyone else have a tradition?

lol that's too funny. Hey, I'd say stick with it. And we all need a drink after a wedding cake.

On Iron chef America, Cat Cora always finished with a shot. So I guess it works to have a tradition.

I curl up with a Teddy Bear and a pint of B&J's (Americone Dream) watch old movies and cry... the cakes are stressful and I'm usually disappointed in them. Thank goodness I'm only giving them as gifts- I'd be a REAL mess if someone paid me for them and I felt that bad about them afterwards! But the moral of the story is that I'm doing them for practice and I don't want to cry nearly as much for the last one as I did for the first one, so I think I'm getting better (or getting lower expectations!)

I pray for the couples marriage almost the whole time I am decorating. Sadly, lately I have been thinking....half of these cakes are going to end in divorce....
