Yeah, they were pulled form the markets some 15 yrs ago when some politician was sent to the store by wifey and he read the label; trace amounts of metal - NOT edible. Then he proceeded to push thru laws to ban the sale of them ![]()
Heavy metals are not passed thru the body. They accumulate forever so the more of those you eat the more you will get sick etc.
You would have to eat an incredible amount of dragees to get sick. I have been eating them since I was a little girl & I am 70 now & still going strong. It is amazing how many items we see that have a label on them saying"known in the State of California to cause Cancer", we have a good laugh every time & I am talking about items like artificial christmas trees to plastic tables, it is fascinating!

LOL!!!! I see these signs everywhere......he in San Deigo I even see them on car windows....restraunts! I am moving back home next month......So I am glad to see i will be safe in TX!
Clearly we need to start illegally selling dragees out of a car trunk in California ![]()
