I'm back from vacation! I came home to Mel's box of almond-buttercream scented goodness. The lotion is great. Not greasy or oily at all - I really like it! I have pictures of the purse cake and matching cupcakes I made for a 13th birthday that I'll post later.

What mold did you use fiddle? I know wilton has one, but I'm really tired of their molds! I have been looking at some of the ones from countrysweetart.

Here are the S'mores cupcakes I made with the Grandkids. They were so good! They didn't last long.
Graham Cracker cake with milk chocolate filling and 7 minute marshmallow frosting.
Also made Chocolate Cherry topped with Bettercreme with Hershey's chocolate syrup and cherry fruit spread mixed in. Not bad but the cupcake was more of a brownie consistency. I added some cherry jello mix to it and I think that made it more chewy.

Grandma, pretty classy photo of a s mores cupcakes, I have to say. The other ones are also beautiful. Question: I have to make watermelon margarita cupcakes for Monday. I can make watermelon ones by tinting a white cupcake a dark pink, adding mini chocolate chips and adding watermelon Jello and green icing. How do I get the margarita flavoring in them. Replace the water with the margarita mix? 1/2 water and 1/2 of the mix? Stumped. Thanks for any help.

Pat, the margarita mix doesn't quite put enough flavor in the cupcake. I would do full margarita mix for the liquid less about 1/4 cup. Add the rest with lime juice.
Sounds good. I've been wondering how to make a watermelon cupcake and the margarita sounds good. I have some watermelon Lorann flavoring and now I know what I'm going to use it in!

It's a graham cracker extended version. They are really good! I'm going to make the cinnamon roll and apple crisp this week end. I found some of that Smucker's apple cinnnamon topping and I want to try it in something!

Fiddlesticks, Macsmom's recipe for S'mores cake but I always use the extened version. Works better for me than WASC.

Graham Cracker Cake (for S'mores) - MacsMom
2 boxes white cake mix
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup ground graham crackers
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1/2 c honey (*suggested by fievel)
1 1/2 tsp salt
8 egg whites
2 2/3 cups water
4 Tbsp vegetable oil
2 cups (16oz carton) sour cream
4 teaspoon clear vanilla flavor or 3 tsp. vanilla bean paste & 1 tsp. vanilla flavor
*Filling: stir mini-marshmallows into the Truffle filling.

I used the honey and also some molasses in mine.

The apple bits are in the cinnamon apple ice cream syrup by Smuckers. It's a limited edition so I bought about 5 jars of it. I made some apple crisp cupcakes and made a french vanilla mousse and folded in a jar of it for filling and it is so good! Topped with a maple buttercream.
