I am SO CRITICAL of my own work...that I haven't even made ONE cake that I absolutely loved completely.........so I can't even pick one. However, I just LOVE the cakes posted so far...they are absolutely amazing....and most of them I've never seen before (not sure how I missed em' I'm on here ALL the time!!)

I just want to say that everyone's cakes are beautiful. I know that my cakes don't 'rank up there' with some of the amazing talent I've seen here on CC. My favorite cake (is not my best). I made this last fall for a dear friend's bd. She has early onset Alzheimers, and hardly knows me now. But, she still loves flowers, and especially roses. This cake made her smile, and that made my day!

My Favorite cake has to be the one I did for my niece's Sweet 16. It was my first large cake. I have other small cakes that I like too, but none were as abitious as this one. Plus I drove about 5 hours with all of my stuff for the week and made the cake at my sisters house. What an adventure!!

First off, all the cakes on here a beautiful!!!

I haven't done a ton of cakes. I'm always to critical of my work. My DH tells me I'm too hard on myself. But this cake I made for my nephew's 21st birthday. It was the first time I carved a cake, frist time covering a cake with fondant, and first time making figures with fondant (the snowboarder and trees). My nephew was so excited about it. I didn't think we were going to be able to eat it. While I'm still very critical over it and know I should have done different things, this is my favorite so far. TFL

My favorite cake by far has to be my semi cake. We worked so long and hard on it and I get soooo many compliments. No one has ever seen anything like it in our community. Thank you to all who have commented on here.

This one (Maggie's birthday cake) was a collaboration with my cousin - she had VERY specific ideas about what she wanted for her cake. This was my "take" on it. We were OK until she said that she wanted tiki torches....my mind started whirling.....then...."OH YEAH!!!! Piroulines hollowed out with candles stuck in the middle!!!"

This is a great post. These cakes are amazing.

It's hard to decide a favorite, but I have to go with the one I made last year for my DD's 5th birthday.

I have a few favs but this is one of my most recent. It was a combo Easter and B-day cake that needed to "delight" the five grandkids at the same time even though the birthday girl was an adult. Another fav is my castle cake in my gallery.

Unfortunately I am able to see only about a dozen of all the pix posted (I cannot get anything in the gallery to load and most of the pages only load about 1/3-1/2 of the way)
The ones that impressed my the most are SeaQueen's red & white heart tiers and on pg 8 this is a pale pink, white & black tiered beauty. Wow gals - great work!

I love the buttons and the baby. The baby on top was also holding a tiny teddy bear that I loved doing! I loved doing this whole cake

What a great thread i love looking at everyone else's cake. All of the cakes posted look fantastic, i love them all.
