Depends on the extent of the damage. Try rubbing a small amount of crisco around the area and and try To mold the cracks back together. Then smooth it out. If the cracks are too big, you might need to uncover and recover.

Last night I was making a baby shower cake one of my baby booties broke and I used a mixture of gum paste and warm water and I glued it back together it work will on white fondant but when I tryed it on my babies arm (the topper for the cake) it showed the crack pretty well it didn't work so well
I had to end up covering my baby with a blanket
