I need to make a retirement cake to serve between 50 and 75 people - I'd like to do two stacked square cakes - what size pans should I use? I've never had the opportunity to make such a big cake so I'd really appreciate any helpful tips you have! Thanks!!

Hopefully this link goes thru. icon_wink.gif It has a list of all shaped pans w/ servings per each 2layer cake.

I take it uyou mean you want to make a tiered cake. A 10x10x4 sq cake will serve 50; add a 6"x4" sq OR round and get another 12-18 servings.
