Oh sonia, that's terrible news. I am so very sorry icon_sad.gif I hope things look brighter for you soon. I don't blame you for being emotional right now.
Big hugs.

Sonia, that is terrible news. I am so sorry for your issues. I would be emotional now as well and probably eating everything in site!!! I hope things look brighter soon for you.

Merissa, that is great news 141 is awesome! Keep up the good work! Having that sundae is not a bad thing as long as you keep it to one time and not slip down the slope!

I have been working out in the mornings, the afternoon ones are the hardest to get in for me. My HRM is giving me problems and I love to see how many calories I burn. I also pulled something in the hamstring area. Not sure if I should push onward, or stop for a bit. I think I will push onward, but at a lower intensity.

Have a good day all

Thanks Merissa, I had fun making that one. I had the help of a 5 year old as well.

I got up and did 45 minutes this morning. That felt great.

Everyone have a great weekend. Not sure I will be on much, wont be home most of the weekend.

Things here are fine. I am looking forward to a nice, warm and sunny weekend. I think we'll make it to the beach for the first time!

Thanks, Merissa. I'm doing ok. Only just getting to the point where I can talk about it without shedding a tear. We have found a house that we have fallen in love with. The problem is we have found out it is not easy getting a rental house when you are bankrupt. We are just waiting on our police checks to arrive before we put in our application.

Michelle, you've done a great job with your cakes! Making those balls that go around the edge take ages, don't they!

Well I am glad to hear that you are hanging in there. I hope everything works out with the rental house. Despite all of the trouble, maybe it will be nice to be closer to your DH during the week though.

Thanks, Merissa. Now that I'm getting used to the idea of moving from our house, I'm actually starting to get excited about moving back with DH full time. He's been living away all year. I think I'll also take the opportunity to make my life slow down a bit. I'll travel back to work every Friday, as I work at my kids' school, and made a commitment to teaching their music for this year. And have decided that I can deliver cakes to all my clients on that day if they wish. If that doesn't suit them, they'll have to find someone else. Apart from that, I'm going to start making more time for myself.

It will be about an hour & 10 minutes. I know to those who live in the big cities, that's not far and they may do that every day, but to us in little Tassie, a one hour drive seems like a long way. It will mean I can still catch up with family regularly too.

boy I guess I ate too much I this holiday weekend icon_cry.gif I gained about 2 or 3 pounds since saturday! I woke up saturday morning at my lowest (140.7) I was really excited to be getting so close to being below 140. I didn't really stick to my new eating style this weekend. BUT-I know I ate way less than the "old me" would have eaten. Well that is a wake up call to how easy it is to pack on the pounds in a couple of days! I will definitely have to limit the spluging to a couple times a month at most! I was really hoping to be a little closer to my goal by my b-day, but it doesnt look like that is going to happen. Oh well...just keep going.

How is everyone else doing?

I was down to 147.9 on Saturday, but up a couple of pounds by Monday. So I guess I had the same problem with splurging on the weekend icon_rolleyes.gif

Haven't weighed myself since then, but did some weights yesterday and went for a swim today, and I feel lighter tonight icon_lol.gif

I am here, Sonia, thanks for asking. Everything is fine. Spending a lot of time on Facebook playing their stupid games. Funny how I get addicted to those games. I have also been able to catch up with some of the family I haven't seen since the '70's. Unfortunately, one cousing had a massive heart attack a couple weeks back. She is doing fine now, and has at least cut back quite a bit (if not quit) smoking.

Sonia, I am sorry to hear of your troubles. Hope everything turns out well. Hang in there.

I don't consider an hour's drive to be too long. Well, maybe for a commute if it is every day, but on my days off I will drive for hours what with shopping and other things I like to do. Still trying to get to Sanibel Island and back to Disney some time this year. Unfortunately, what with this oil spill in the Gulf, tourism is down and tips are also down accordingly. We will see what happens when school gets out for the year in the next week or so. It was a good weekend, though.

My mother took an old shirt and sewed through the bottom hem and put it on a hanger to hold her clothes pins (pegs).

Good to hear from you again Karen! I've recently become acquainted with Facebook, but haven't even looked at the games....there's too much else to do!

I quite enjoy driving too, Karen but and hour each way seems like such a waste of time when your life is so busy icon_lol.gif I'm looking forward to cutting back a bit thumbs_up.gif

Well to me an hour isnt that bad. I do that every day. In the morning it takes me 35 to 40 to get to work, but in the afternoon it can take 50 to get home.

I love facebook too!! I got addicted to the games when I first started, but now I find them too time consuming. I am sitting there playing instead of cleaning, working out or making dinner. So I now can not get on the games until I have done everything that needs to be done first.

I dont know how I did over the weekend. I dont think I ate too much, but I dont want to get on the scale either.

Have you all heard of Cake Wrecks? It is a web site that shows "professional" cakes that people have paid for. It is quite amussing. check it out.

Gotta run and get to my facebook!! LOL

Good morning everyone.
I did my workout last night, I have started the 28 day boot camp on spark people. Then I promptly ate chicken enchiladas, with white sauce for dinner. Oh well, at least I did my afternoon workout.

Got up and did my morning one today.

Sonia, hope things get better, I think about you often.

Have a great day everyone.

Hi everyone-sorry I havent checked in in a couple of days.

I think I lost the weight I gained over the weekend...phew. I went for my weigh in today and I am down 24.6 pounds! I have officially been on the diet 90 days (since I am on the last page of my journal!) so an average of 2 pounds per week. They said it would be 3 pounds, but I know I worked hard so I think 2 pounds per week sounds pretty good. I think I am looking to lose about 5-8 more. Unfortunatly though, I am noticed that my icon_eek.gif have shrunken!

I am awfully busy this week with cakes and I am stressed out.

How is everyone else feeling? I also do facebook some. Not too much. Some of my friends are on there constantly! I just don't have enough to say honestly. However some of my friends are on there updating their statuses every 3 minutes! LOL "drying my hair" "eating macaroni" "blowing my nose" LOL LOL. I got a lot of messages yesterday though because it was my birthday. 35! I can't believe it.

Happy late birthday Merissa!!!

I have been doing really well with my workouts this week! Hopefully this is the start of this habit.

I cant wait until my basooms shrink!!!! That will be a blessing for me.

Well I did my afternoon workout and the 10 minute one for the 28 day boot camp. I also got up and did my morning one today.

Everyone have a great day!

Happy belated birthday, Merrissa! Glad to hear of your loss.

Michelle, good to hear you are doing well. Never had a problem with wanting my bosoms to shrink, just my stomach. It has, but is not flat again, yet. Looking forward to that.

Merissa, you made me laugh, the comment about your friends posting on Facebook!! I'm the same as you....I don't say aything about myself, just look at my friends' pics and so on. I was just thinking yesterday while I was driving, "I wonder which day is actually Merissa's birthday"!!!! icon_lol.gif Hope it was a great one!

I am still not back into the swing of dieting since we found out about our bankruptcy. I just have no enthusiasm anymore. I am thinking I might do some woodchopping today, though, that seems to always make a difference on the scales the next morning.

My icon_eek.gif were also the first thing to disappear. DH noticed before me icon_redface.gif Why does it have to be that way?? icon_cry.gif

I only had one cake for the weekend, and that's done, so now I can relax. I don't usually have my weekends free, so it feels nice to have some time with the family.

Well I went in today for my weigh in and they took measurements...My icon_eek.gif are down by 2.5 inches!! It is really noticable to me now. My bra is sort of "formed" and there is like an air pocket between me and it! LOL I guess I need to go get some new ones. boo. But I did wake up this morning at 139.3! Yea! I havent been in the 130's since i had mono a couple of years ago LOL!

Hope things are going okay sonia! I think about you a lot, and I know you'll make it through this eventually. It must be really hard. I don't blame you for not having enthusiasm for weight loss.

Good job on your workouts ladies! I gotta get going to pick up my ds from a birthday party. good day!

Thanks for thinking of me, everyone! We still don't know what we're doing. We have 3 rental houses picked out to apply for, but are waiting on our police checks before we can apply.

I didn't make it out to do any woodchopping. It started raining. However, I managed a bike ride into town to get some more cake supplies.

Merissa, my neighbour is a personal trainer, and used to tell me to do pushups to make your icon_eek.gif look bigger. I don't think they actually get bigger, but the muscles behind them do. I didn't take her advice, because I hate doing pushups icon_lol.gif

well I suppose I could try that. I told my DH that I wanted a boob job (joking...sort of icon_lol.gif ) after he got Lasik surgery for his bad eyes. He said I could go ahead and get the boob job first! LOL. I never thought I would care so much, but all that breast feeding really ruined them! oh well.

WE just returned home from my nieces baptism. It was a fun day to not have any work to do. It was funny, she pooped all over my SIL (not at the baptism at least!) It got all over her jacket, what a mess, ha ha. That's why I am happy I am done having babies! She's really cute though.

How was everyone else's weekend? I am sad it's over because now I have to get back to work. I took on way too many cakes for me this month.

My weekend was the same as always. I worked, hard. Now the next two days is when I get the privilege of going in to work in the middle of the night. Oh, well, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and then I have a couple days off. I was just talking to my sister about work. Made me realize that at least I am getting hours and others are just working say 8-12 or 8-2 at most. Doesn't make wake-up time come any later, though. As a matter of fact, it is getting time to go to sleep soon.

Have a great week this week, everybody!

Hi ladies!
Sonia I keep praying for you! Keep thinking positively, I know hard sometimes but keep that chin up. It has to get better.

I had a nice weekend. We had family over on Saturday then went to my husbands brothers for dinner yesterday. For a change it wasnt go, go, go!!!

On Saturday I did an hour cardio and 20 min strength. It felt great. So after almost a week of good workouts I got on the scale hoping for at least a pound loss.......NOTHIN!!! I am hoping its bloating since I start this week.

Merissa great job on the loss, that is awesome!

Karen I feel for ya working nights. I dont think I could do that at all. I am not a night person, by 10 I am fighting to stay awake, but I can be up and ready for the day to begin at 5 AM....go figure!

Well everyone have a great day!

I have trouble getting up too early in the am for work or working late nights. It is only two hours, and I will be making $25 and possibly tips for it, so I am not worried about it. I should be home by 8, and the next day is a 7:00 day. It may also lead to other jobs and maybe I can make a bit of money. Have to get to Ohio in September, which means saving some money. At least $400, most likely more if we can swing it.
