Clicks for Monday.
It's in the eighties here... come on FALL!!!
My first time clicks today!! Feels good to be helping!! thanks for the info
Hi just_for_fun, so glad to have you join in the clicking!
You just reminded me that it has been a while since I've posted the link and the info, so here it is:
By going here:
http://www.thebreastcancersite.....s?siteId=2
and clicking daily, you can contribute to free mammograms for women in need. This only takes a few seconds and with enough clicks from all of us, we can make a difference against breast cancer. There is a button to click to get daily reminders, so you won't forget!
At the same time you can contribute, for free, to five other very worthy causes by clicking the color tabs across the top of the page.
As I said, it only takes a few seconds!
I hope you will make it a daily "click" for you, I do! Thanks, Janice
Clicks done for Wednesday.
Things aren't looking good for Texas. ![]()
Yep, it looks like it may be a bumpy rest of the week for the Texas coast, and we may even get a lot of it as far north as where I am...well, rain and wind anyway. They are getting set up to move people out of there, but it is still hard to tell for sure where Ike will land.
Thanks for the prayers, we may really need them.
Wednesday clicking is done.
Where are my manners??!! Hi, just_for_fun, welcome! Mandatory evacuations have started for Texas. Everybody hang on... again.
Clicks done for Thursday.
My Thursday clicks are done, and I ordered some of their bracelets and the pink ribbon ballpoint pens.
My dear SIL is going through tests again for breast cancer, she has two lumps in her left breast, has already had it in the right one and beaten that threat! She also beat leukemia 20 years ago! She is amazing!
Well, it looks for sure the Texas coast is going to get hit by Ike, but he still isn't predictable! I'm safe enough here, but am sure worried about down south.
VJ, so sorry to hear about your SIL. Sending good thoughts.
Clicks done for Friday.
Thanks, all of you! SIL had her tests on Wednesday, not sure how long it will take for results. She is kinda like the energizer bunny, she just keeps going, and I do not know how in the world she does it!
Finished my Friday clicks.
Oh, I just ordered some of those ballpoint pens with the pink ribbon (back in stock) and got 20 of the bracelets to give to SIL to share with her friends.
Jan---Wishing the best for your SIL. My future SIL is in the the middle of her chemo treatments and is doing really well. We (women) are all so very strong!!!!!!!
How's your weather?? It's very windy here and I'm in MS so I hope you're holding strong.
Clicks done for this Saturday.
Just finished my Saturday clicks.
The eye is just now coming onshore, we won't get much activity until later today, so you are in worse shape than we are. I have the TV on, they are showing boats in the water, one of them is sinking! Houston and all the coast towns appear deserted, but those people who stayed sure look to be in for it!
Scary business, this whole thing. I guarantee if I'd been down there, I sure wouldn't be there now.
I haven't heard anything from SIL, she tends to just work more and more when she is stressed out, she is a paralegal with a large real estate law firm.
Hope everyone comes through all this all right! Jan
Click.
It doesn't look good for the Texas coast. They said Galveston will be under 5 feet of water?! Plus they were saying up to 2 weeks before power is restored (in Houston I think)! Good thoughts for all those affected.
Sunday clicks.
Now they're saying up to a month to restore power in Houston. The pictures look just awful.
Monday clicks done.
Hope everyone has a good start to the week!!
