Well, once again our coastal region and NOLA are on stand-by for a direct hit from a hurricane. We are already preparing and getting things done here. Lord, lordy we are praying it's not another Katrina or anything like it!
Clicks done here too. K'ly

Saturday morning clicks are done!
The news is not good about Gustav, and then there is Hannah right behind him, lots to worry about for you all!
It does sound like the preparations are going forward, so hopefully it will not be like Katrina if it does hit NO.
Fingers and toes crossed for all of you!
Clicks for Saturday.
It's nice and chilly in here.
It took them 5 days to get here and 5 minutes to fix it. And I mean literally, 5 minutes. Replaced a capacitor.
Good news, it only cost us $50. ![]()
Lots and lots of good thoughts for all those to the south!
Sunday clicks are done.
At this point it looks like anyplace down south could be in jeopardy! Really scary! I hope everybody who needs to be getting out of the way is doing that, it worries me that so many are still saying they aren't leaving!
DFW is gearing up to take care of people who have to leave for higher ground.
Everyone take care and be safe!

I'm not sure which is worse. Knowing you have 30 or 40 minutes to prepare for what's about to hit. Or having 3 or 4 days to figure out what you're gonna do. My DH volunteers for our local EEOC; he's getting ready for phone lines to be down.
Good thoughts for everybody! ![]()
Happy Labor Day, ya'll!
It is supposed to be hot and dry here in North Texas for today, but even here there is concern for what may happen as Gustav crosses land. I'm completely scared for all of you down along the coast, and especially the ones who are opting to stay there and "ride it out."
Hope you are all safe and protecting yourselves. Jan
Happy Labor Day!
My DH said Gustav has been downgraded to cat 2, which is so much better than it could've been. Still not good, but better. Keeping good thoughts for everybody.

How did everyone come through? K'ly you o.k. out there??
HD---Yeap I'm here and thanks for thinking about me. Thank God we have only had alot of wind and rain so far. Wish everyone else could be so lucky.
On another note, Hannah may be a concern for my family in Savannah.
Keeping everyone in my prayers. K'ly

Looks like everyone got off lighter than expected, not scott free for sure, but not as bad as it looked like it could be. Glad you are okay K'ly, hope everyone else will check in and let us know whats happening. Maybe Hannah will diminish quickly, then we will have Ike (I think that was what the next one was called) to worry about. 'Tis the season, I guess.
My mother and stepfather live out in East Texas, they are due to get the wind and rain today, but they are on high ground so flooding shouldn't be a problem for them.
Everybody take care and be safe! Jan
Glad it wasn't as bad as it appeared to be, and looks like everyone is coming out of it okay. We even had a cool, damp windy day yesterday...wonderful!
Now if all those other storms out there will just blow themselves out and not be problems for anybody!
