Congratulations!!! What fun that will be!
I'm sure you can probably pick up some colors at your local cake supply shop. If not, I noticed on CC in the SHOP area there is Americolor air brush colors under food color. Have fun and Merry CHRISTmas!

Yeah! Great gift, congratulations! You might find the colors at Michaels, they carry Wilton products and other brands. There shouldn't be too much of a problem getting you started.

I GOT ONE TOO! I'm so excited to use it, although a little intimated! They bought a huge box of colors (big bottles) to go with it! My in-laws are just awesome!

Congrats to you!

DianaMarieMTV: Thanks for that awsome site! I will definately look into it!

nglez09: Nope, it didn't come with color. It is a regular gun with a huge compressor. It is not specifically for cakes. I really don't know what kind it it. Just that it is much bigger than the one I used when I worked at the grocery store bakery! I get to pick out my own colors!

Congratulations, everyone!

I feel like that commercial with Jessica Simpson "I don't know what it is, but I wont one".

I got an air brush too. I don't know what to do with it, but I got one.

Great link. Thank you. I got a kopykake airmaster and have no idea what to do with it, either. icon_smile.gif

Well, I'll add a *ME, TOO* to the new airbrush category thumbs_up.gif . Mine is not a Kopykake, but..... DianaMarieMTV, that site is awesome. I just picked up a big pad of newsprint to practice on and will look for a couple of coloring books.

DH bought me two cake books, one on nothing but airbrush, and an airbrush and all the primary colors. I will be working on my first cake with it tomorrow. Wish me luck!

I am glad to see that after 40 post on the same topic someone was actually reading them and is sharing the info. howtoairbrush.com is a great sight for the beggining airbrusher.

Hubby bought me my airbrush last summer for our anniversary when ICES had that sale by Kopykake! I know nothing about airbrushing, so I bought two Carol Faxon books and Roland Winbeckler's book -- both very helpful!! icon_biggrin.gif
