It is very cold in Melbourne at the present time ( supposed to be summer) and would you believe it we actually got snow in some parts of the state!!!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all my CC'rs from New Zealand. A beautiful sunny day and have just eaten my Christmas lunch. Just hubby and I and it is so peaceful after the hectic cake decorating year. Not finished yet.A wedding cake for Thursday 28th and 2 for Sunday 31st December and then it's into the next year with the next bookings. Have a great sucessful New Year.

Ive just come home after breakfast at my Mums. lunch at my in-laws and now I am back up to Mum and dads for dinner (its 4:30pm here). I am sooooo full I could burst.
I had a small lunch but a huge helping of trifle & Chocolate mud cake (thanks Kylie!!!!)

Not quite 8 PM Christmas Eve, but my first chance to take a breather for a minutes. Gifts all wrapped, baking all done, visit with friends over. Clean up the kitchen and I am off to bed. Christmas morning breakfast with my daughters family. Merry Christmas to each and every one of you.
kathryn, thats so funny about the mud cake..
my kids went to their poppy's for lunch and i got to have some peace and quite, so i dug into the mud cake i made for us to have after christmas dinner tonight...i had two big pieces of it...lol
hope no one notices the missing pieces later...
now i have the joy of over tired worn out kids fighting and screaming over all the toys....
i love christmas day..(but i can't wait til its over)..lol
