How long NFSC or Penny's recipe is good for if it's been kept in a air tight bag in the fridge??

I have kept my NFSC in the fridge for about 10 days once ! It was rolled out and something came up. I couldnt get back to it, It wasent cut out yet , and it seemed to taste just the same ( was just cookies fo us ) So I didnt mind tring it , but it was fine. I have never tried Penny,s.

I have used it 2months after I made it. Smelt it and tasted the cookie dough and the cooked cookie dough and it tasted great. I only make cookies for my family and it was NFSC. HTH

Can someone tell me do you use plain or self rising flour in the NFSC and soon in advance can i make these cookies? I need them for Sunday, can i bake them on Friday and icing them on Saturday for Sunday?

Merch . IT uses the all purpose flour , and you can make them now , after you decorate and they harden up, make sure you bag them etc! and they will be fine for Sun or long after !
