1 cake mix typically makes between 4.5 and 5 cups of batter. I use the Wilton guide on how many cups per pan and go from there. I use Duncan Hines and get 5 cups of batter from 1 box - 8 cups if I use the WASC recipe.

Learning how many mixes to use in each pan size is soooooooo helpfulicon_smile.gif
A 10"x2" round pan uses one cake mix - not doctoredicon_smile.gif
A 10"x2" *SQ* will use 1 1/2 mixes OR one batch of WASC.
A 9"x13"x2" pan also needs 1 1/2 mixes OR one batch of WASC. I've heard some people say they use 2 mixes in that size but I always had good luck w/just 1 1/2.

I found this template on line...

http://www.dltk-kids.com/crafts/cartoons/hellokitty/cake.htm

there are three of them at the bottom...

it appears you will need all three and line them up according to the directions.
