Ok I had LOTS of trouble with my loopy ribbon loops breaking on me. I mean EVERY one of them did (fondant). So I decided to go back and make one out of just GP. Well the customer said she wanted a big loopy bow for the smash and put the candle in it.....Can you please critique it?
I am not searching for comments made on the picture itself...just tell me if it looks good enough to go on the cake.

I don't know why she wanted it on the smash cake... And it covers the whole top..but she mentioned having a candle in it. The candle she provided. And it made it extremely hard to work icon_sad.gif

i think it looks just great! i love the curlies mixed in with the loops, and you incorporated the candle beautifuly. i know you're not looking for just praises but i don't see anything wrong w/ it except that it's going on the smash cake it should be on the main cake. whatev people are weird. you did a great job!

It's for a boy.....she said not to make a bow look girly and I thought yellow, the blue just looked too overpowering. Does this look like a boys bow?

looks fine to me. I have a ? for your client--how can you not make a non girly bow, it is a BOW????? It looks fine. I want to try bows so bad, but I am chicken and not a pro so really have no reason to do bows yet. One day!!!

I have three small boys. I would be THRILLED beyond words if you brought a smash cake to me with that bow. If you are worried and will lose sleep, maybe replace some twisty curls in a masculine color...blue or purple or green. Personally, I wouldn't touch it. It's the cutest thing I've seen in a long time. Fabulous.
