Ok, here's my lame entry for mysterious. The mysterious part is WHAT is it? And why is it so square headed? Hehehehe. Oh, I think he's kinda cute. I had another idea for something just for me, but so far it hasn't happened. When is it my time? Oh yah, never! I forgot! Haha! icon_lol.gificon_confused.gif

forgive me for saying this but they could almost be boobs with really bad stretch marks hehehehe. Nah not really it is cute in a weird kind of way, great job on the eyes.

Thanks Melvira and Rickash!!! The kids loved it, they were pushing me out of the way so they could get in and get some! made it a little hard to cut with all those hand pointing at the bits they wanted!!!

Ok, here is my 1st TOTM submission. I had some extra batter from my son's birthday cake, as well as some icing, so I threw this together. I didn't quite have enough white to cover the door completely, but I think it makes the door look more "mysterious." lol Anyway, here's my ode to "The Shining"--the REDRUM door. Enjoy!

Ok, I know this is more Halloween then the Dark and Mysterious but I have 2 other cakes to do and don't have time to make my idea for in here. So, here's my entry before time runs out.

Oh, and by the way....My Dark and Mysterious idea was a kids bedroom with a closet door half open and the kid in the bed scared of it. Closets are always dark and mysterious to kids, least my daughter was scared of her's sometimes!

Jenlg............Great cake! When I looked at the cake my eyes followed the broken sidewalk up to the door! I was very aware of the things on both sides of the walk! Love the spider cake TeeCakes! My four year old has been begging me to bake a spider cake since he's been scanning the halloween gallery on here. Yesterday he sat at the computer and clicked his way through a bunch of halloween cakes saying, "Mommy, can we make this one next?" Tomorrow we're doing our first decorated sugar cookies. What can I say? We both get inspired looking at the great work on here!

I love this idea Melvira! The cakes presented in this topic are so cool! Here's my entry for the month. The "Dark" part of this cake was the closet I locked myself in after creating it! The "Mysterious" part was the fact it didn't fall apart (before) I put it on the table, just soon after! icon_lol.gif

Here's my take on Dark and Mysterious. I actually made these at the beginning of October. They're not really so mysterious, but... They are based on the Soot Sprites in My Neighbor Totoro. I loved that movie.
