It must be able to level the cake itself. 
I tried clicking on the link to "buy" it and it said it is sold out and discountinued. Maybe that is their way to let you know. 
It did make me want to send the link to my DH to let him know that I do get my stuff very cheap and to stop complaining.

You probably wouldn't want to use that one anyway. It must be diamond encrusted 14K platinum - then you'd have to worry about one of the rocks falling into your cake.......

3 @ 900 million...I had some spare christmas cash tucked away in my sock drawer, I think they'll make nice stocking stuffers.....bwaaa haaaw haaw!!

I am surprised that the Michaels that I bought mine from hasn't gone out of business yet as they were selling them for $5.00 there!!

Bummer my secret it out! That's the one I have and it does EVERYTHING for you! LOL and you all thought I decorated the cakes I have posted! he bakes, levels, decorates, goes to the store for ingredients, and get this, he even cleans up after himself! I'd say if you can afford it go for it! It doesn't get any better!
Have to say I've always liked my little Wilton leveler that I also got a while ago at Michael's for $2.99. As long as the cake isn't larger than 9 inches and isn't too tall, it works great! Really too bad if they are being discontinued!
The big Wilton leveler I thought was a piece of junk, as I oculd never get it to work for me, but now my new Agbay leveler--that might actually be worth a MILLION BUCKS!!!!

In two days, this topic has had (so far) 413 hits! I wonder if Joann's noticed how many hits were on thier Wilton sale pages! Maybe they will carry more Wilton products! (andy maybe they'll reduce their prices if all those hits didn't produce a sale.)

Jo Ann's does this on any item being discontinued. I tried to buy a scrapbooking tote once and it was the same price! hahahaha - I guess my husband is right - I have expense taste and hobbies.
