Hi everyone! I just had to share my news! About 2 weeks ago my neighbor held a holiday open house where I met a man who owns a local company. He asked me if I could make any type of custom cookie, he was hoping to send out 20 or so to his best customers for holiday gifts. Well, I just took him the sample which is a chess board cookie, with dark and white chocolate chess pieces ( his company sells games) and he flipped out, in a good way! He ordered 50 sets from me ( 30 more than he originally talked about) and if his clients like them, he wants me to make 10 sets a week for the nest year!!! 500 chess board sets, it would be a huge order with a huge income, 1000's of dollars!!!!

Yea!! Wish me luck that his customers love them, too! Plus he is letting me put my info on teh back of the cookie bag which could lead to even more orders!!!

Thanks everybody, for the kind words! I am excited!! I love CC, it's the greatest. I will definitely post a pic of the chess board and chocolates, as soon as I make the first official cookie. The funny thing is I didn't think it was as cool as the customer does, but I guess what he thinks is what matters most! So I hope no one is disappointed when you see it!

Wow, looks awesome!! How big are those cookies?? Did you use fondant or an icing for the checkerboard?? Inquiring minds want to know!! Good luck in your business!
