Kay, Rosti is grated potatoes bound together with egg and a bit of flour then fried rather like a pancake, really yummy thumbs_up.gif

Yellow Pea Soup

Once again this is Swedish Living in a swedish town I had never heard of this dish. Pea soup YES not Yellow Pea Soup It is made with pork loin, potatoes, dried yellow peas, chicken stock and spices.

Barb you got one ingredient Cabbage. These are savory pie. They are a yeast dough with a ground beef ,cabbage ,onion filling. And chain restaurant was formed here in Nebraska selling these AWESOME pockets.. YUM In Kansas they are made with sauerkraut and beef. So there are many varieties of this (hot pocket)

sparkle the bierorks recipe I have may be similiar. But these are wraped in a yeast dough. and baked.

Sorry I haven't pm'd you the recipe yet Barb. It is a lengthy recipe. It tells how to make the dough and everything. And I have went to our carnival everyday. But I will get it to you. Sparkle if you want it I will pm it to you also. Our Runza's are AWESOME.
