This is a cake that was made to celebrate an actresses divorce! I'm posting this while my wife is away from here computer! I can't remember her name or the group that made the cake for her, but she's off the show Meet the Barkers.

I'll try finding the link tomorro to post it for those who can't see it. I'm inept when it comes to a computer though so I'm not promising anything than I'll try my best.

I actually heard about this cake on the radio yesterday! It was for some celebrity (can't remember who) to show that divorce is OK .... warped sense of humor - though I did have a party with my girlfriends when my first marriage ended! lol

Well, I know the name of the guy - Travis Barker. He's a fabulous drummer. Shanna Moakler is his soon to be, if not already, ex-wife.

Wow - this is quite the angry cake. I am not sure I"d want to make it, but just like the erotic cake business, there is a market for this kind of thing that is widely untapped. Probably for a good reason, but - you know.

I have never been through a divorce but from what I have seen people can get pretty immature, this proves it. I must say though, the cake looks well made, in poor taste, but well made. To each their own I guess!
Oh, it was for Shaina Mogler and Travis Barker's divorce and they have two kids together, sad. (Sorry about the spelling on the names)

I have been through a divorce - though it was never this nasty - and they just seem to be getting worse. The celebrity ones are hugely publicized but I have a dear friend who has 2 beautiful daughters going through a divorce right now and she is being tortured by her ex-husband.

The celebrity ones are getting unbelievably nasty right now. Isn't extortion illegal? Or do they make exceptions for divorcing celebs? UGH>

I saw this in a magazine (People?) just this past week. When Hallmark came out with "Happy Divorce!" cards, we had to know this wasn't far behind. icon_confused.gif

I saw the show a few times. They "seemed" to be in love. I guess having a camera in your love life 24 hours a day can ruin a marriage. Just like Jessica Simpson and Nick....and I think there is another couple out there,,I'm not sure. hmmm...very weird cake!

I must have a warped sense of humor, but I think its quite funny. I am just assuming though that it was made in fun, not that she actually wanted him dead. But you are all right, in this day, divorces are getting so ugly.

I could see making a swathe through the flowers all the way down the sides of the cake. I don't care much for the blood though.

i also dont like the idea of a dead man on my cake....divorce or not....he could have been badly bruised but not dead and bleeding. i also saw the show and thought they were happy. i guess not...i also can identify with the party....not divorced myself but its so much stress on them they have to destreess. any excuse for a party and cake.
