We're In The Paper And The Phone's Ringing!!!

I just wanted to share. We were in the religion section of the paper a couple of weeks ago, which was very exciting, but really didn't seem to affect us at all. But today they did a feature article on us in the food section and the phone has been ringing off the hook all day! I've had to screen my calls because our holiday starts tonight and I can't take any more orders right now, as I am still finishing my final order and cooking for our own family (imagine that ).
Anyway, the article is online, so I'm posting a link to it for anyone who's interested:

L'Shana Tova (Happy New Year) to any Yidden out there. And have a great week everyone!

Wow! That really is a wonderful article.
What fantastic publicity for you.
You would do SO well over here!

What a great article that is! How exciting! So neat that you were able to make a business while staying true to your religion, while providing scrumptous desserts! Congrats!
Oh Kathi ~ that's just wonderful!! I'm sure you'll do tremendous business outside of any religious connection just because they can trust that you'll have quality ingredients! Congratulations and Happy New Year !!!
Thank you, everyone! The holiday is over and Shabbos is over so I'm back online. I finally had to turn my phone off so I could finish my orders before the holiday Wednesday night. I baked 50 challah loaves, 40 honey cakes, and half a dozen other cakes for Rosh Hashanah. We went through 40 lbs of flour in 3 days! That may not seem like a lot to those of you with a shop, but from home, with one oven, it was a LOT!!!
JanetPlanet, you are so right! I really didn't expect it, but I've gotten a ton of calls from non-jewish people with milk allergies and a lot looking for gluten free cakes. I feel like this article opened up a whole new market for me......now I just need to find some really good gluten free recipes for birthday type cakes. Off to the library this week!
ziggytarheel, will we see you tomorrow at the Frosting Heals meeting?? I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!
