Just had to share - the best non-cake I've ever made. My son does NOT like cake or frosting, so he always wants a pie for his 15th b-day. (I think I burned him out on frosting when he was little - I was practicing flowers and if he was good he got to eat all of Mommy's goof ups 
)
I wanted to do something special for him plus experiment on making figures. So I made this to go on top of a cherry pie.
Boy was it fun 
A great learning experience - thanks to all of the helpful tutorials on CC, especially aine2.
My hubby thinks my buck looks like he is on steriods - but I wanted to make sure he would stand on his own.
