I've seen many of you here that use wires to suspend flowres, bees, beads, etc. from you cakes. What type of wire are you guys using and what are any tips in doing this? Can you purchase the wire in different colors...like white for instance?
Thanks for any help with this!

I have used floral wire, and from what I saw it came in either silver or green. I looked through the jewelry wire but none of it was sturdy enough for what I needed. The floral wire comes in several different gauges, or thickness, so depending on what you want to hang from it, one of them ought to work for you.
I have also seen that people dip the ends that they will be sticking into the cake into candy melts, so that none of the wire actually touches the cake.
i use flower wires....if you go to michaels....in the flower section where they sell the foam and tape and wires etc...they have an assortment there.....all sizes and colors....mainly greens, coppers, aluminum and white.....good luck...hope this helps!!!!!!
