Donna Dewberry Cake / Cookie Decorating

I thought I had a unique idea...
Use Donna Dewberry's One-Stroke Techniques for decorating cookies and cakes.
But I just discovered that she has an upcoming episode of doing just that! She's selling a line of food colors, (http://www.thesweetpalette.com)with special additives to make it like paint. I don't have the episode available on any local PBS stations, so if you see the episode, could you tell me what she says about decorating?
I've been using very thin royal icing mixed with piping gel and glycerine to get a "paint" consistency. I've been able to re-create the colors from her guide books using regular icing colors. I also use her brushes.
My own icing works very well, but I was wondering if her "food paint" has other additives to help with painting...and also if she puts anything on the cake or cookies before painting on them.
Thank a bunch!
Thanks for the link. I just put it into my favorites to check it out a little closer when I have more time.
When I took the Wilton classes my instructer told me she had been doing that for awhile. The cakes look great when done.
