I am proudly introducing my 13 year old niece to Cake Central! She has just recently posted her very first three cakes and I am so incredibly proud of her! Not only are they great for first cakes, but considering she is only 13, WOW! She has such an incredible future ahead of her in the cake business. I know she will gain every bit as much from all of you wonderful people here as I have. I am including a link to her info: http://www.cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-forum-userprofile-47759.html in case anyone wants to pm her.
Let's all give her a warm Cake Central Welcome!

If I could have had that talent at your age. I would be a huge cake designer by now. Sorry I won't give my age but I could be your mom 2 times over. You are very talented. I had admired your cornelli lace cake. I thought great colors when I saw it posted before this. You are way ahead of the curve girl
And you have great family support and to help you along. You could be the next Cake Queen. Keep up the great work. I hope my 8 yr old DD follows my footsteps of my passion as well. We are doing her 8th B-Day party as decorate your cake to take home. And she will be helping me to decorate her haunted castle cake. She loves it as much as I do. You are very talented and I believe you will go far ![]()

Welcome to CC Shaley!!! You cakes are fantastic!!!! I can't wait to see what you do next!
It is nice to see a young person taking on a craft of this nature. You have done an outstanding job, and I hope you continue on with your decorating. You will really enjoy this more as you get more advanced and of course a little older. Keep up the good work, and your first cakes are very good.
Oh, my goodness, Shaley! You so totally ROCK! (That's my almost-40-year-old attempt to be cool, LOL.) Your cakes are truly incredible. I live in NE Ohio, too, so I may have to buy my own birthday cakes from you in the future!! [By the way, are you near Shaker Heights? Do you babysit? See, I'm always on the lookout to score some good sitters!]
Thanks to all of you for your encouraging words. I am having fun learning off of CC and from my aunt. I made a cake last night that did not work for me from the very beginning. I will post a picture and show you what I did to fix it. I called it the snowflake cake because I threw a bunch of white chocolate shavings to hide a flawed cake.
Thanks again,
Shaley
