This was my first time entering anything, so wasn't sure what to expect. I
Definitely wasn't expecting this!!. I took 1st place in both catagories I entered and Best of Show for all the categories. I have added what the cakes looked like at time of entry, and a picture at fair close (6 days later) with their ribbons. The cakes are a little worse for wear at this time. They were housed all week in glass cases no air in 90 degree temps.

THEY LOOK AMAZING and I think they held up really welll. I am curious as to how you made them because it can't be good for cakes to be in a glass case and 90* degree weather and yours look really great. did you use fondant ect... are they real cake or styrofoam?

Congrats! Mine was judged last night but I don't know how I did yet. It's raining here and I have a 2 yr old so I'm not venturing out in the rain to see how I did. Probably won't get out till the end of the week!
I think you did an amazing job on your cakes and congratulations on your win. I don't see too much of a noticeable difference in the cakes from the heat.
