Ok, so now I have my new KA, Im trying to figure out how to use it...

Can you make MMF in the KA? If so how? Do you use the kneading hook thing?

Forgive me, Im new to my beautiful KA... haha

Some people do use the KA for fondant. I do not. It isn't that hard to make with your hands, and you can have a better feel for when you have enough sugar.

I agree with Joanne...MMF is extremely easy to make by hand. I learned the hard way when I almost fried my heavy duty mixer the one and only time I tried to use it to make MMF.
Good luck!!

I was so excited to make MMF in my new KA when I got it, but I have found that it is so much easier to do it by hand. I make a lot less of a mess and I can feel when it's the right consistency.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo... I mean, yes you can make it in the KA, and people do. I think the instructions listed on the CC website even say to use one to mix. Should you though?

Not in my opinion, at least not if you want your KA to last. It is super hard on the motors and there are many posts from members here on CC burning out their KA. If you do, best to have the top of the line power motor.

YYYYYYYEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS.... for me. using the hook attachment.
I use the "Stir" speed, but I scrape the sides every now and then to help the mixer.[/b]
