Can I Use Springform Pans For Making Cakes????

Does anyone know if I can do this or not.

You can but you will have to line the pan so the cake batter doesn't run out. At least that's the only issue i've had with using them.

i agree, you can do it, but it's a hassle.

I use mine all the time. I always line my pans with parchment paper anyway. The paper makes the cake rise higher than the pan. The paper will no collapse, and You can make a very deep cake.

I have a 10'' round springform pan I use all the time. I just use it as a regular pan no liner or anything..no problems..yet.
