Hello fellow cc'rs;
I just wanted to post this to try and help a new member of CC. CakeDrParker posted a photo that included himself and his instructor in it, which was against the rules and he wasn't aware of it, he mentioned the loss of his family in December and was taking some healing with the kind words of you fellow decorators but the entire photo along with the kind words were all deleted.
Here is what I received from him after he contacted this site administrators:
"Well I e-mailed and was told sorry.....they deleted everything.....so all the kind words are lost. I had found over 555 views ...17 votes for favorite....and over 100 notes had been left......I only got to read two or three.....It really makes me sick since the words meant so much to me and lifted my spirits......Maybe you can let others know on here somehow that I have re-posted a new photo in my photo's of the cake and let them know I would appreciate feedback. My photos can be found under CakeDrParker....."
Please, if you did make a comment on his photo, could you re-submit it to this thread? This is part of his healing from the tragic loss of his wife, daughter and 3 grandchildren in December.
Let's show him what compassion the CakeCentral members have. I for one will appreciate it, and I'm positive he will as well.

I sent him a pm and let him know how sorry I was. I can't imagine losing your entire family like that in a split second. It's tragic. In the pm, I told him he should post here since everyone is so supportive. This post just proves it! The fact that this post was even started for him says a lot about this community. I will keep you in my prayers Doc!
sometimes rules should be bent......it makes me mad when there are no exceptions....I didnt see anything but its sad that it has all been deleted.
We do not read the comments when deleting a photo due to faces appearing in the photo. We would have no idea if there should be an exception made.
Thanks to each of you who have taken time to re-post your notes to me. Your kind words mean the world and have helped me more than you could begin to understand. When I woke and found 555 folks had looked at my cake........17 folks had voted it a favorite and about a 100 notes had been left I was so surprised and pleased. I was in a hurry and was able to only read a couple.....when I got home I signed on right away to find it all gone. You have no idea how my heart dropped. I had looked really forward to reading each and everyone of them. Rules are made for reasons.....and I am very sorry I broke one. I didn't know I had until it was toooooooooo late. Again thanks to each of you for your words. I hope all of you will take the time to re-post and vote again. I really does mean alot.

CakeDrParker.. I saw the pic of your cake & I left a comment. Also telling you that you can upload a photo of people here in the Lounge. Soooo why not just upload a pic here & share it with us. I for one would be delighted to see it. I'm sure whoever left a kind word would indeed leave the same words here in this thread that jscakes started.
