To All My Overseas Cake Enthusiasts...i Need Some Help!!

Hi, guys! I need some help, if at all possible. I just found out that my son's terrific teacher is going back to the States for good at the end of the school year! She has also become a wonderful family friend as well. I was wanting to do something wonderful for her! The kids recently took a great photo with her and my desire is to be able to get an edible image created of it for a cake for the end of year party. But-and this is my problem-I don't have the stuff to do it with!! 
If any of you might possibly have the capabilities to do this for me and send it to me, I would be forever grateful!! I would pay for whatever it takes to create it. And since the party is this week I kind of need it in a hurry!! I know that this is an immense favor that I am asking. And I wouldn't normally ask, except that she has been an extraordinary force in the lives of so many here-including my own family!! So, if someone out here in Europe could please help me with this-I would be the most grateful person in the world!! Thanks for anything you might be able to do for me with this!!

Sorry that I can't help with the image but I do have a suggestion. I did a cake for a customer with her brother's picture. Since I don't have a copy to do the images, I got a picture from her and printed a copy and then laminated it and put it on the cake and used a border around the laminated picture, she liked it very much.
Hope this helps in some way.
I found this on the german Google: http://www.marzipanland.de/de/shop/foto.htm, it takes a week to get a photo on marzipan by mailorder. Dont you have any german friends, that could help you to contact a bakery? There must be some near you, that would make an edible image. Germany has such good baking traditions. I do know that most german dont speak anything else than german.

Absolutely, Janice!! I think that I am so lucky to have found this place. But I can't wait to get all of this stuff myself!! That is my next big purchase!! The people here are absolutely terrific!! I am so glad that this site exists!!!

I just read this message and I'm am so glad that Diane could help you! I am in Stuttgart and also have edible image capabilities so if you ever need my help with things like this, I would be happy to help if I can.
I wonder how long it takes to ship MPS, I've never done that before. It would be great if you could pm me and let me know when you get the image from Diane so I will have some idea of the time frame.

i can't get my printer to work!! i am still having a problem with the picture coming out very light. if anyone has a canon printer and edible image capabilities, please respond quickly!! Thanks everyone. It was my fault. I couldn't get the pic to attach on the PM so I put it in the post but naturally it got deleted! So that was my fault. I will just come up with something else. My own loss for that. But thanks again.

Tayna-bless your heart for having such a good heart and trying this-but it will still work-do like it was suggested previously=laminate/put clear contact paper over or wrap very tightly in saran wrap the picture and add it as an un-edible image-everything else will be the same-let us know how it turns out. My girlfriend works in Spangdalhem but I don't know how far from you that is-she may verywell be able to contact a bakery for you or something.
Hey, I'm here in Holland and i had my edible picture's done by the lady were i take my courses. She charge 10 euro's for a picture.
So if your in Germany there should be some place were it can be done.
