Hey Friends~
I haven't done a lot of children's bday cakes (not that I haven't wanted to, I have teenagers so all our friends have teens too icon_lol.gif )... anyway.. I have an order for a 1st bday girl!! I thought the mom wanted a bow cake (that I have in my gallery). Well she wants the idea of the bow cake but not with the bow & not 2 cakes like a present. She wants a round 12" cake iced in pink, with white swirly's & the writing in the light green that is so popular. I'm planning on adding a shell border in the green also (or just do it in white). Now to my question... I'm charging her $25.... what do ya'll think? It's too late to change my price I know but I'm just curious. The only bday cakes I've done were free except for the present cake & I charged $65. Comments needed thumbs_up.gif

OH... I used Doug's single round to help me out with the design!! I love them templates!! THANKS DOUG!! (even though your on vacation)

I think $40-50 would have been more reasonable. I also think the shells should be white that way the lime green wording really pops at you. Sounds like a cute cake.......pics, pics, pics.

Thanks Cyndi~
I agree, I figured at least $35 or $40... after I quoted $25! Oh well, you win some loose some!
