YAY I just finished my fondant figures of my husband and kids today, (they are sitting on barbie chairs right now while they dry lol) I am going to place them on a sofeI will sculpt from cake and cover in fondant. This is a Father's day cake for my husband of him reading to the kids. Hopefully the mmf wil hold up .... it is starting to crack the more I mess with them so I am hoping that they will hold just strong enough to position them on the sofa I am going to makeand leave them alone ... I didn't want to add gumpaste because my children and really looking forward to eating their own dolls LOL I am excited to get the whole cake finished.

The fondant child that is on the bed will be positioned climbing overthe back of the sofa.

kind of ... the first fondant figure I did was a baby, but I just made the head, feet and hands .... the body I just used a big lump of fondant and made a blanket and threw it over the baby to hide the fact that it didn't have legs, a proper body and only 1 arm LOL. it is in my photos area.

You did a fantastic job! At least your daughter didn't come out looking like Chelsea Clinton (like mine did). lol

Can't wait to see the finished cake with your family on top.
