hi guys, how long does mmf last in the fridge? i'm planning to make a cake for next saturday (june 23) & covering with mmf.. BUT okay, it would be my first time making mmf & i don't know if i should risk it.......

Unless it dries out, MMF (and most fondant) lasts for months. It does not require refrigeration.

double wrap it and put it something airtight. I also rub the outside lightly with shortening to prevent drying.

When you make the mmf, be sure to hold back some of the powdered sugar. It may not need all of the sugar. If you add all of it, your fondant will be too dry to use.

...yeah, MMF, wrapped/airtight can last 6 months to a year!!!

It doesn't need to go in the fridge thumbs_up.gif

If is gets hard, just toss it in the microwave for 5 or so seconds and it softens right up!
