time do you spend on it?

There's so much going on here. How will I ever find time to get to it all?

Way more than I should. icon_lol.gif At least 3-4 times a day and mostly when I should be doing something like dishes. I have to go to my parents for Labor Day weekend and I'm already dreading the 4 days I won't be on. icon_cry.gif We're talking serious withdrawl.

I am on so often, that my 2 and 4 yr olds know that they can run wild for at least 30 minutes when Mommy sits down at the computer.

Ummm, I don't keep track. Knowing how often would interfere with the whole denial part of my addiction!

Pretty much every time I walk past my computer (which is next to the kitchen, not hidden away in a back room) and I am usually on for 10-15 min. at a time.

I'm with Doug. I stay logged in. I check back every few minutes as I go about my day. I'm a stay-at-home mom so this is the most adult conversation I get all day!

I hear you folks! If anyone actually watches the bottom of the forums page to see who is on...You would think I am ALWAYS here! I never log off-unless my 4 year old needs his daily game fix. (nothing like starting them early) I have never timed it, but it is ALOT. I am also a stay at home mom and check everytime I walk past.

My typical day--get up check CC, get breakfast-check CC dishes--CC vaccum --CC you get the picture!

Log off, what does that mean??? If someone else needs on the computer at home, I minimize this screen and they pull up the page they need in another window, while I still have my CakeCentral up.

Hello, my name is Trish, and I am a CakeCentral addict....

Doug-that's funny! That's what the kids at school say to me too!

I am on this site ALOT. I don't want to say "too much" because there will never be "too much CC". When I"m home I bet I check it 8-10 times minimum. At work...much much more! Probably on it a good portion of my day (shhh...)

I love the time I spend on cake central. All the short cuts I have learned have saved me so much time to spend where else but cake central!

LOL I started to add up the times per day I check in and then I thought ugh forget it, keeping a timer on wouldnt help either- too complicated.

But I'm still in the denial stage- so like with alcoholics who say they don't have a problem, I refuse to admit that I'm wasting my time when I come on here hours per day because I'm learning something every time I read (even if it detracts from other things I SHOULD be doing hehe)

THAT'S my story and I'm stickin to it icon_cool.gif

OMG ... I spend soooo much time on here!!!! How funny would that be if along with our posts, there was a log for how many days, weeks, months, years we spent logged in here?!

I'm at the point where I can't wait to get home from being out just so I can get on the computer and check CC for new PM's, pictures, posts, questions, etc.

INSANELY ADDICTING, AND I LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!

If I have the day off and am At home I start my day off on CC, catch up on all of the post for about the last 10-12 hrs (after loggin off the night before) I usually figure 5 pages of post (using the "view post since last visit") take me about 1 1/2-2 hrs to go through... then once I have caught up I have to see what was posted while I was catching up...

Then go do stuff for about another hour or two, then I start over again...

On days I have to work I am usually trying to catch up on about 24 hrs worth of post... that can take awhile.. So I come home from work, check out CC for a bit, go clean up from the day, come back finish catching up on the forums, then figure out what is for dinner.... Although this tends to push dinner back till about 8-9 on some nights (maybe I should plan a little better)

The "view post since last visits" is Such a lifesaver, i don't think i have missed much with that feature, and I don't know what I would do without it!
