Robin Hassett of the Dessert Tray demonstrates a 3-tier cake covered and decorated in fondant. Pretty interesting.

Amazing video...thanks for sharing! The cake turned out so pretty. I want to try fondant but I am still learning and I am so intimidated by it.

Little Linda....you are awesome for sharing that. I have been doing buttercream covered cakes for a while and have been wanting to start working on fondant (MMF) covered cakes and have been frustrated with it. It also gives me a visual and the consistency that the MMF should be. I think this will help me a lot! Thanks for sharing!!!!!

Awe, shucks, I'm speechless! .... Seriously, That's what this forum is all about: sharing. I stumbled upon the video, enjoyed it, and though it would be helpful. I know the visual aspect helps me. I've never done a fondant covered cake; but I've worked a little with fondant.

Great video! I pick up a technique so much better when I can "see" it being applied. I'm a visual "hands-on" learner. When I see someone do something that I think is cool....I say...man, I can do that! And I jump in and give it a shot... icon_surprised.gif)
