How Do You Know You're Addicted To Cake Central......?

how do you know youre an addict?? I personally dream about cake central. Last night my Hussy said I was saying White Almond Sour cream in my sleep. 
so funny. how do you know you're an addict. think i may start to suffer from carpel tunnel syndrome soon let's hear it CC

oh gosh..the first thing i do when i wake up is check cakecentral 
..i could not log in for the last 2 days 
and i was feeling panicky! everytime my DH has to use the computer i would be hovering above him and waiting for him to finish..cakecentral to me is like my food, i can't make it through the day without it..
You know you're addicted to Cake Central when you begin to wonder why you bother getting online at all if the site is down for maintenance!
You can only check your email so many times a day, the internet was just plain boring without you guys!
Thank goodness you're back...I was beginning to wonder if they made a "patch" for CC withdrawels!!!!

I was in SIRE need of a particular recipe, and technique advice.......I was DYING!!!! I had to finally "Wing It" as my DH called it...and just make the cake!!!
I've been so sad the last two days! (And bored!). I think I checked back every 5 minutes...I'm serious.
Now I'm crying cuz I'm so happy CC is back!!!....Please, don't ever leave me again!

Like rezzycakes, I too was constantly checking CC to see if it was up and running. I tried not to keep looking every few - 5 minutes because I would get that really 'lost feeling' everytime I saw the 'maintenance' page still up.
It was like the weight of the world lifted from my shoulders when that last 'click' of the mouse brought us back together again.

I asked my BF if he did something to the computer - he calls this site my "online boyfriend". I also needed something off here last night......I did miss it.......
I also had a dream about decorating - my BF was trying to tell me (in my dream) how to decorate a cake 'better'. When I woke up I told him to leave my decorating alone - he laughed.....
Pathetic, just pathetic....that is what I am...I now know just how addicted I've become in the short time I've been here...the only other thing I can do with my computer is play solitaire(while checking periodically for CC to come back up). I do believe I need a therapist...hehe
when you have a headache, (that's me), but you won't get off CC, or you should be sleeping or decorating a cake or cleaning--man o man i'm an addict...... & my 2nd addiction is smilies

as to where to post, maybe you should have put it in general or lounge (only thing about the lounge is doesn't post on home page)---but i don't think it matters....they've moved mine before when i did it i the wrong place

When I read this to my DH, he said that perhaps CC should go down for a day once a month as a community service so that more of us could get something done during the day. He just doesn't understand the importance of cake or the seriousness of our addiction!

Well, when you refer to a post that originated months ago.
When someone talks about their post ( months ago ) and you actually remember it.
When you know cc members by their real names.
When you have a withdrawal when they're down for maintenance.
Is that enough or should I list more? LOL!

My DH said that all the husbands got together and blew up CC.... How horrible. I said: Hush your mouth. Don't ever let those words leaave your mouth. He just shook his head and was off to work laughing knowing I had to do something productive !! LOL
