I need to make cupcakes for a bbq. Any ideas how I can decorate them? Something simple, please!

The cupecake bouquet is really cute, and simple it's a big rose like swirl... and you can make it really pretty if you put two colors of icing in one back so the rose looks very pretty .... or a simple buttercream swirl with sprinkles is always a favorite... if you're looking for simple, sometimes the very best really is the old fashioned simple but delicious status...

I like the buttercream swirl with a snow white buttercream rose or flower on top... maybe a little bit of cake sparkles on top... nothing fancy but lovely and so yum!

My favorite thing on a cupcake is a nice big swirl of icing and sprinkles. It's simple and looks nice.

Swirl the frosting on with a large tip like the others mentioned and if it is for a bbq could you pipe an ant or two on them?

You the beach theme too. cover them with crushed vanilla wafers or graham crakers as sand. and make little flip flops

I like the ice cream cone cupcakes too....... no papers being thrown around the yard, and easy for the little ones to hang on to,,,
