I have been to this website and looking around for a while and decided to join. I currently am a stay at home mom of one and when not busy with my son spend time tending to a large garden and poultry we raise for fresh eggs. I am researching the possibility of opening a bakery in my hometown since there is no one around who makes goodies for sale. As of now I make cakes, cookies, candies, pies and breads for friends and family. I am excited to find this great website and can't wait to meet others!

I use to raise Road Island Reds, nothing like fresh brown eggs in the morning.

Oh boy, there's nothing better than veggies or fruit from your own garden. Corn on the cob, sweet peas and luscious strawberries....

I have a subscription to Backyard Poultry. (This is as close to having chickens as I've been able to get without my DH's support; but I think he's weakening.)
