Im soooooooooo mad.....I cant belive that i forgot to mirror the image on my butter cream transfer......it was the 1st thing that I did... since im working on two cakes...... I decorated and used every last bit of frosting.........i really did scrape my bowl because i barely had enough for the other stuff.......then come to find out my transfer is backwards...
I dont have any more 10x ......I cant belive I went thru 5- 2lbs bags this week.........
my little girl is a sleep so i guess ill have to finish tommarow after i go to tthe store......
I guess this is why I started doing my cakes ahead of time.....so I could have time to fix mistakes........
sorry i just needed to vent....
and I know that only you all would know how upsetting this is .......
ah yes.....flipping the image! I always forget to do that when I am printing iron-on transfer t-shirts! Ticks me off every time!

If arent any words on your BCT you may be able to save the work youve done. Unless the image is obviously reversed to others and not just you, if its not salvageable look on the bright side you just made a practice BCT. Turn it out on a practice cake and see how it came out.
No it had letters and they are really looking backwards.........yeah I was thinking that ....oh well at least I got practice.......i think the thing that really bothered me was Ive ben at it all day...and just when I thought i was done........it happened.
Its ok ...i guess tomarrow Ill be fresh and rested...
It's gotta be those cake elves again! Sorry that happened to you! Next time it won't happen it will be fresh in your mind to do mirror image.
I wonder how many people bake & decorate a cake without having some kind of problem or disaster happen?
Everytime I do a cake something happens. It might be small or large I never know!! I have a Hawiian totem pole cake to do for Wed..... I'm begging those elves to be good to me this time & help me out instead of jinxing me!! Keeping my fingers crossed!!

Yea, hawiian cakes are popular! My 15 yo daughter & friends are throwing her best friend a farewell party. The friends dad is in the AF & he got stationed to Hawaii. Their leaving Fri. I was ok doing the cake BUT I was suckerd into getting decorations AND having the party at my house!!! 
I hope I don't live to regret it!! The kids are great kids so I know they'll have a good time & not drive me to drink! 
Oh, the cake is going to be like the totem pole BCT that was posted a few days ago. I laughed when I saw it. My daughter picked the same plates/napkins out 3 wks ago! I just hope I can get the nose as 3D as the person who did that cake! It looked great!
I better get off here.. it's 2:25 am.... OH, no!! I stayed on CC to late!!! I'll hear it from my DH for sure.

Yep, Ute... I was up way too late last night! I won't let that happen again! I'm not working now. I haven't worked since last Aug when I hurt my back. That's when I took up cake decorating! It was a bad thing to hurt my back but a good thing to start cake classes!
I'll start my totem pole cake tomorrow. I want to do some hibiscus flowers on it too. I hope I have time!
ok .i finished my cake........i think that i was gonna die........the more i tried to hurry the more I stuff happend.....
1st I went to the store because I needed powdered suger .....I bought 4- 2lbs bags .just in case........
then after i mied my shortening and butter......(i was making dinner at the same time) I grabbed a plate from the cabinet and it fell and broke ....and glass pieces were everywhere......I didnt see any in the mixer but they were all over my counter top ..so I figuered that ..just in case I should make more........thats when i found that i was out of butter .......so i went back to the store to buy more butter again bought extra in case....
now let me tell you its such a challege to go to the store.....they just build a super walmart down the street really close but the lines and parking it took me about an hour each time.....I only live a mile away... and the local groceryu store isnt better its father but alot more crowded.......
when i started this was an error ...now im thinking that i should have put this in the disater section...
