Chocolate Covered Oreos--Pricing And Pink Ribbon Items

Hey everyone!
I am currently making dozens of chocolate covered oreos from the Spinning leaf molds for a bake sale at work. We are doing it to raise money for a new Breast Center (I work in Mammography).
I was just wondering how much we should charge for them? I am doing Hearts, Crosses, Flowers, and the Awareness ribbons with regular oreos, mint oreos, and chocolate-filled oreos.
We were thinking 2 for $1.00, but everyone keeps telling me that we should charge $1.00 for just one. We are packaging them in a fluted, clear plastic bag with a silver tie on them. Please reply ASAP. I will be pricing them all tomorrow night. Also, if anyone has any ideas for baked items with the Pink Ribbon (awareness ribbon), please let me know!
Thanks so much!

Do you have the strawberry milkshake oreos there? They're so yummy and that may help with the cause - since they're pink inside. People love them, and they're a limited edition.
I've never sold them individually. I charge $7 for 8.
I haven't made these yet so I'm not sure, but I can tell you that the chocolate store in my local mall (when I lived in Ohio) sold them for $2 each and people paid it. I don't think you will have a problem with people paying $1 per cookie...Good Luck!!!! ![]()
Unfortunately I have not seen the strawberry oreos.
I bet they are good though.
Thanks for the input on sales in Ohio. That is where I am located so that helps a lot! ![]()

I say you should sell them for $2 each! I'm from a tiny little town in PA, and there is a chocolate shop there that sells them during the holidays for $1.50. People pay it, even in our little town, and I'm sure that they'd be willing to go to $2 if they knew that money was being used for a good cause! Any chance you could change that silver tie on your packaging to pink? I don't know why it makes such a huge difference, but people (myself included!) really respond to that pink ribbon!
