I've been playing the demo version of Cake Mania but didn't want to fork out the $20 for the full version. Well here is a website where you can download and play it for free!!! The catch is you have to watch a very short commercial like every 2 or 3 rounds.

I have the game and i did shell out the 20 and.... dang it all I beat it already. I got five free downloads of it so of course I shared with my coworker and sister.....shhhh. Fun game too. Wasn't too bad once I figured out the way to make things a bit less hectic. lol

Have fun.

Well I Googled Cake Mania Cheats and the second or third search result was a walkthru and there were some great tips and cheats there. One being if you have a cake left over at the end of the day, when your last customer comes in, finish thier cake LEAVE their money on the counter, pick up the last cake (normally a screw up lol) and THEN pick up the money. If you are HOLDING the mess up cake in your hand you will NOT be charged any "damages" for it not selling icon_wink.gif

The trick I found was not to pick up the money off the counter until I was ready to add a customer. You can only have x # of customers in line. So I would leave money from 2/3 on counter until I had the cakes baked for the remaining customers then pick up the $ that would trigger the new customers.
they would be looking at the menu while i worked on deco an then be baking while delivering.

I've learnt that if I do make a mistake to put that cake on the cake stand and somebody will order it.
Take care of the skater type kid he gets mad fast, so does cupid.

Well I just completed (started a new game fresh this morning after posting here) the entire Cake Mania game. I also purchased Cake Mania Back to the Bakery (the 2nd game made so far) and have yet to complete it lol I've had them for about 4 months now lol.. I gotta say I looked at the high scores at the end when it said I finished it and they are all in the 60K and over and there is no way! it's impossible! I finished with just under $5k in pocket lol... and ALL upgrades... It's tough but it gets easier if you do as stated above and leave at least 2 money piles... you can only have 4 customers in each shop at a time and then later I think it changes to 5 can't remember now lol... but I would leave the money until I was ready for another customer. Also the cake stand is the 1st thing I bought because mess ups can be sat there and sooner or later they will be bought. Also the hardest part I found was when each round first started and the first group would come running in you have 4 or 5 customers at once you have to fight to get thru lol then you can take your time and leave the money lol icon_wink.gif

I can't get past the circus level. icon_sad.gif I haven't seen Cake Mania 2. I have a subscription to shockwave, and it hasn't gotten there yet. Hopefully soon. I haven't played in a while, because somehow I lost my save game, and had to start all over. So frustrating!

I purchased both of mine thru Yahoo Games section which ends up being SandLot games. I'm sure you can get it from either one. I paid yahoo games with a credit card and have had NO extra charges or unauthorized mailings or charges or anything. icon_smile.gif

My DH just found this for me, so I wanted to share and found this post! So I wanted to add to it.

What a cool little Game. On my first day, I made 7 cakes did not loose any cakes or customer, I made my goal and $30 to boot! what fun! Wish this was for real.

Now back to real cake baking!

Good Luck

I am hooked. I tried the game last night and I was playing for a good 2 hours. My sister, her boyfriend, and her 9 year old and 5 year old were also playing. Gotta love it when CAKE brings us all together.
