CakeCentral.com is trying to put on monthly contests where people from all different levels of skill can have the opportunity to win neat cake decorating prizes.
The prizes are paid for by ME. This money comes out of my own pocket. I do it because I LOVE cake decorating, just like you, and I am in a position to put this website together and keep it running.
I am a novice cake decorator, not a professional, I am a programmer. I do this because I enjoy it. And I have created this community so that others can share in it.
Everyone is entitled to thier opinion on whether they think I am rude or not.
If you don't like me, you are still welcome on this site. I am not here to win any popularity contests. I am an extremley busy woman, and yet I find time every single day of the week to keep this site running for you. That's money out of my own pocket every single day to keep this site alive for everyone, including myself. Im not forcing anyone to stick around if they don't want to be here.
I have created the rules for the contests to make them as fair as possible to everyone that enters. It may not be a perfect system but I work hard to try and get it there, and I am always open for suggestions on how to make it even better.
If anyone has any questions about the rules of the contests, you can feel free to IM any of our moderators, or myself, or post in the forums with a question.
I tried to make them as clear as possible, but I also understand that people may still have lots of questions.
I have closed the other posts regarding a contest entry that was removed as I would much rather get back to the topic of cake decorating, and I think it was open long enough for people to get thier 2 cents in and feel satisfied about it.
Let's get back to baking

Hi, Jackie! First, I totally love this site. Being overseas now, I can never get in touch with other bakers. I am not a professional either. But being here makes me still feel like I can get there eventually. I obviously missed the negative posts-glad for that. And I am extremely grateful to you for keeping this great site open for me to be involved in. I think you do a great job of managing here and with the rest of your busy life. Just know that this is a haven for most of us. Forget about whatever negativity comes. You are who you are. And you have created a terrific site! Take care. And thanks again!!

First make sure you read the rules here:

Then go to the cake galleries:
http://cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-photos.html
Select "Upload Photo", then just make sure you select the "2005 Mother's Day Contest" from the album dropdown.
