What do you think?
Would you add something else?
It looks like something is missing, but I don't want to "overdo" it...

Thanks!!

What about maybe some molded chocolate seashells around the bottom?

Cute ideas! Would you put more "sand" on the base? I'm really indecisive tonight for some reason. Thanks!

The cake looks fantastic and surely is done?. Does it need a message piped on the cake board?

Beautiful cake!!! I really love it. I think it is great as is. If you really feel something else is needed, maybe just a message on the cake board like bejwelled said.

I think your cake is FABULOUS!!! I just got back from Hawaii and this cake reminds me of my trip icon_smile.gif I think all the suggestions that were made are very good or to just leave it as it is would be fine too. It's beautiful!

I agree, this cake is beautiful and it is done! If you feel you need to add something, write a message on the board. I don't think the cake needs anything else. Great job!! thumbs_up.gif

I would add a few flowers to the base of the cake to even it out - smaller ones than you have at the tops of the tiers. Gorgeous cake - love the flowers - are they sugar?

Usually, I tend to want to overdo but DH keeps me in line. So I would have to say anything added would be too much. Great job, it's a beautiful cake.

Thanks, everyone for the great compliments and suggestions! Everything looks better in the morning, doesn't it? icon_smile.gif

I think a message on the board is what I'll add this morning. Maybe a wee bit of sand, and if I have time a few small flowers, but I'm going to be cutting it close.

The hibiscus are gumpaste. I'm really proud of them- I made them up as I went along without real instructions. Just had a silk flower to dissect and use for a template and guide.

The final cake is in my pics- I think the banner with the writing finished it off pretty well, though I had to add it in a hurry.

Thanks again to everyone!
