Anyone have any ideas for this. The first two things that came to mind were a cake decorated like their flag and a cake shaped like Argentina. I don't know enough about the country.
I did a google image search and didn't find much that sparked my brain.
Does this idea sound dumb? Argentina shaped cake (carved from sheet cake) then on top try to have to tango dancers on it?
Not too sure how much I can help... However what is big there is "Mate" it a green tea they drink out of a cup(silver, metal or wooden) with a silver straw. Also meat is huge there (Bbq), of course as mentioned b4 the gaucho (spanish cowboy) & the Tango. Soccer is huge & they are very patriotic as well so you can't go wrong with the flag...
I lived there fore 13 years (now I live in Canada) however I plan on taking a trip real soon as my Mom lives there.
As to flavour/filling you can use Dulce de leche (caramel). Which is very costumary...
